A robbery occurred at the Radio Shack on Limestone Road on Thursday, Jan. 3.

Troopers are investigating an armed robbery of the Road Radio Shack, 4708 Limestone Road, that left one employee injured. The incident occurred at 8:40 p.m. when two black male suspects wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and masks entered the store brandishing handguns. The suspects forced the two employees in the store to turn over an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. One suspect pistol whipped the 19-year-old male employee; the 24-year-old male employee was unharmed.  After obtaining cash and merchandise, the suspects bound with tape both employees and left them in the store's bathroom. The suspects then fled through the back of the store. The 19-year-old male employee was transported to Christiana Hospital by ambulance where he was treated for a head wound and released.  The Delaware State Police is asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 extension 6.
