Four people were taken to the hospital after a two car crash on Old Churchmans Road in Stanton on Dec. 27.
The accident happened just after 2 p.m. in the area of Stanton Ogletown Road. Investigators say the 24-year-old female driver of the first vehicle suffered minor hand and possible internal injuries. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
A rear-seat passenger in the second vehicle, a 42-year-old female, was thrown from the car. She was taken to Christiana Hospital with head and internal injuries and is in serious condition. A 64-year-old female front seat passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle. She is in stable condition. The 70-year-old male driver suffered a head injury and is also in stable condition.
The accident is still under investigation.
