  • The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition received a grant from the Longwood Foundation to fund a three-year program which will evaluate the organization's current programming and assess the needs of its patients.
Barbara Goldberg & Associates and the DBCC staff will conduct the evaluation. They will collect data from program participants and community partners. The DBCC hopes information obtained from the research will help improve its programming and identify needs in the community.
The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition solely focuses on breast cancer and breast health through community education programming, an annual breast cancer conference, survivorship programs, peer mentoring and clinical trials education, and on-site mammography screening at community centers, health care facilities and places of employment.
