A Glasgow man was arrested Dec. 18 and charged with dealing child pornography.
Timothy Venable, 54, who resides in the 100 block of South Patrice Drive in the Glasgow Trailer Park, was charged with six counts of dealing child pornography after a forensic search turned up pornographic images on his computer, police said.
On Nov. 20, New Castle County Detectives and members of the Delaware Child Predator Task Force executed the search warrant, seizing computers and other digital evidence.
An examination conducted by the New Castle County Crimes Tech Squad uncovered evidence of child pornography, said spokesman Cpl. John Weglarz. Detectives then executed a search warrant on Venable's residence.
On Dec. 18, Venable turned himself in to County Police Headquarters and was taken into custody without incident.
Venable was charged with six counts of dealing child pornography and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institute after failing to post $60,000 bond.
