  • Governor Jack Markell, secretary of agriculture, and Delaware legislators, will dedicate the Department of Agriculture main administration building to former Delaware state senate, president pro tempore, and secretary of finance Richard S. Cordrey.
    The event will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 19 at the Richard S. Cordrey building, Delaware Department of Agriculture, 2320 S. DuPont Highway, Dover. (if you are using a GPS, enter the location as Camden). For visitors coming from the south on northbound U.S. 12, there is no longer a direct crossover at the median into the department parking lot. Guests should continue north to the next crossover and make a U-turn onto southbound U.S. 13, then make a right turn into the parking lot.
