  • Police are looking for the suspects responsible for an armed robbery that occurred Dec. 9 at Grotto's Pizza, 2015 Concord Pike, Wilmington.
    Investigators say the suspects confronted the 23-year-old female employee, all of whom were armed with handguns and wearing masks. They say she ran from the building but one of the suspects chased her and made her sit on the kitchen floor; with her hands bound behind her back. Police say they then forced the 37-year-old male employee into the restaurant's office where he turned over an undisclosed amount of money. They say the suspects took him to the kitchen where his hands were bound behind his back; the suspects ran away.
