  • A Wilmington woman faces drug charges after police say they collected a large amount of drugs from her Claymont motel room.
    Nicole L. Hansley, 34, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a tier five quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    Investigators say they were investigating drug activity at the Riverview Motel, 7811 Governor Printz Blvd., Claymont. They say they stopped Hansley outside the hotel and found drugs and drug paraphernalia in her possession. Police say they searched her motel and found 2,058 bags of heroin stored in a safe and in a plastic container, $700 in cash, and related drug paraphernalia.
