  • A Wilmington inmate at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna died Tuesday.
    Jeffery C. Davis, 56, was serving a life sentence for rape in the first degree. His sentence effective date was Dec. 26, 1984. Foul play is not suspected.
