Bayhealth/Kent General and Milford Memorial Hospitals began advanced preparations for Hurricane Sandy last week, but have closed offices and cancelled some services for early this week.
Additional supplies such as water, linens, medications, food and fuel were delivered to the hospitals in order to provide for any patient needs during the storm. The Emergency Department, Operating Rooms and Labor & Delivery, in addition to all inpatient services, are fully staffed and ready for any emergency before, during and after the storm.
Below is a comprehensive list of Bayhealth announcements, cancellations and closures for the safety of our patients and staff.
Elective surgery, cardiac catheterizations and endoscopies previously scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, October 29 and 30, 2012 are cancelled.
All Bayhealth outpatient centers and satellite facilities will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. This includes the following locations:
