Junior men's soccer player Thatcher Howell and junior women's basketball player Briana Richmond-Peters have been named the Goldey-Beacom College's homecoming king and queen.
Howell and Richmond-Peters were recognized with the other candidates prior to the Lightning women's soccer team's match against Caldwell on Saturday morning.
Lightning's leading men's soccer scorer with two goals and two assists, Howell, tallied the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Holy Family on Wednesday afternoon.
Richmond-Peters played in 26 games and averaged 3.7 points in basketball while shooting 39 percent from the field. She scored a season high of 15 points in a win at Georgian Court, making 7 out of 10 goal attempts while playing 19 minutes.
