  • Governor Jack Markell helped launch DELeteBullying.org, a new online resource to highlight and support bullying prevention efforts in the First State. The launch on Oct. 2 coincides with October as National Bullying Prevention Month.
The website provides information and resources for children, parents and educators on how to address and prevent cases of bullying. The website's homepage shows a video produced by The Morris Project and features students from Howard High School of Technology. The film illustrates what some incidents of bullying can look like, how it feels to be the target of bullying and how teens respond to it.
Markell also signed two bills into law earlier this year: Delaware's first uniform policy to combat cyber-bullying in public schools, and another that requires consistency in how bullying in incidents are reported.
