New Castle County man arrested on molestation charges

A New Castle County man faces molestation charges after he was arrested by police on Aug. 22.

Walid Shahnin, 41, is accused of molesting a 16-year-old in Clay County, Florida.

Investigators say Shahnin was a fugitive with his last known address in the 100 block of Highland Boulevard in the Scotch Hills apartment complex.

Shahnin is charged with 10 counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.
