The first annual Pawpaw Folk Festival will be held on Aug. 25 at the Blue Ball Barn in Alapocas Run State Park, 1914 W. Park Dr., Wilmington.
The first annual Pawpaw Folk Festival will be held on Aug. 25 at the Blue Ball Barn in Alapocas Run State Park, 1914 W. Park Dr., Wilmington.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature music, storytelling, folk art, crafts, hikes and food.
The star of the festival is one of Delaware’s native trees, the Pawpaw, which is the only food source for the caterpillars of the Zebra Swallowtail butterfly.
