Governor Jack Markell will compete in the third annual 21st Century Insurance Governor Ping Pong Challenge on July 20 in Wilmington to support the March of Dimes.
The match will start at 3:30 p.m. at the 21st Century office, 3 Beaver Valley Road. 21st Century employee Hemanth Yerneni will challenge the governor one-on-one. Yerneni won an employee-only qualifying tournament in April. The event is free and open to the public.
The March of Dimes is a non-profit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and newborns by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality, and 21st Century has raised more than $20,000 for the March of Dimes so far this year.
