  • Wilmington Montessori School sixth-grader receives first-place award in state's "Letters about Literature" contest

  • Tomorrow, at 9:30 a.m., Wilmington Montessori School sixth-grader Michael Jones will be presented with his first-place award for Delaware’s Letters about Literature contest.

  • Tomorrow, at 9:30 a.m., Wilmington Montessori School sixth-grader Michael Jones will be presented with his first-place award for Delaware’s Letters about Literature contest.  The award, presented by the Delaware Division of Libraries, is part of a national contest by the same name. Jones’ letter was to Andrea Warren about her book, Surviving Hitler.  Honorable Mention certificates will also be presented to WMS students Rachel Aussprung, Adele Gulino, Zach Siple, Avani Vesudevan, and Ryan Wolynetz. Michael has designated the WMS library to receive the $100 contribution that was part of his award.
    The presentation will be held at Wilmington Montessori School as part of its end-of-the-year assembly.  For more information on Letters about Literature, visit http://www.lettersaboutliterature.org
