  • Touch-a-Truck kids' event to benefit March of Dimes

  • The MOMS Club of Rehoboth Beach Area, DE® is hosting the 2nd annual Touch-A-Truck event to benefit the March of Dimes on July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
    The event will be held at the Big K (Kmart) parking lot in Rehoboth Beach rain or shine.  Kids of all ages will love to explore the trucks set up for them to see. Scheduled to attend are a dump truck, fire engine, tow truck, tractor, garbage truck, medic unit, postal vehicle, limousine, tractor trailer, cement mixer, flatbed truck with Bobcat, front end loader, ice cream truck, the Tumblebus, helicopter, and many more. 
    Admission will be $5 for ages 2 through 12; everyone else is free.  Children will not be admitted without a responsible adult.  Touch-A-Truck will also feature Tootsie the clown from 10 a.m. to noon, Cascading Carlos the juggler from noon to 2 p.m., face painting, mini-train rides, temporary tattoos, children's activities, lots of raffles, fire extinguisher demonstrations, and refreshments.  Truck books and t-shirts will be sold. All proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes.  Free goody bags will be given to the first 500 children to arrive.
