- The Greater Hockessin Area Development Association (GHADA), along with the Hockessin Community News, sponsored a political debate on Monday, Oct. 15 at the Hockessin Fire Hall. The evening’s moderator was Jesse Chadderdon, executive editor for the Hockessin Community News. The agenda included candidates for insurance commissioner, state senate and state representative, county executive and county council president, as well as lieutenant governor and governor.
